Linking Requirements

OnLine Charity Auctions provides you with a link that allows your web site visitors to be transported to the OnLine Charity Auctions site. We will provide you with the information you need to make links to our web site either from your web site or email blasts you prepare and issue. All we ask is that you insure that the links we provide are formatted properly on your web site and that you maintain the links.

 

Item Availability and Order Processing 

All order fulfillment and customer service will be handled through OnLine Charity Auctions. We will be responsible for payment processing, shipping of our own items and informing the charity where to ship their items. Some of our items are one-of-a-kind and are subject to availability at the time the order is placed.

 

Shipping

  • OnLine Charity Auctions items. Shipping cost is collected from the bidders at the time of sale. The items will be shipped directly to the purchaser.
  • Charity’s own posted items. If the charity provides a shipping cost, when they submit their items to be posted on the auction site, the auction site will collect the shipping cost at the time of sale. If no cost is provided, the charity will need to collect the shipping cost themselves. We will provide bidder information necessary to complete the shipping. The charity will be responsible for all shipping and handling of their items posted to the site.

Reporting

OnLine Charity Auctions will be responsible for tracking the number of products sold to your supporters who are directed from your web site to our web site. You will be provided reports summarizing your sales activity through OnLine Charity Auctions.

 

Revenue for the Charity 

OnLine Charity Auctions will pay you a referral fee on all sales generated by your donors.

  • For memorabilia items provided by OnLine Charity Auctions the donation will be 25% of the amount paid for the item(s) by your donors. 
  • For trips, the charity will receive 100% of all amounts bid over the starting bid.
  • For Your Donated Items we do charge the credit card processing fee and a small % of the sale. Contact us for details on pricing.
  • Shipping fees for OnLine Charity Auctions will be collected directly from the purchaser.

 

Referral Fee Payments to the Charity

OnLine Charity Auctions will pay your referral fees withing 2 weeks of the auction closing. 

 

Refunds to Purchasers

Return Policy for OnLine Charity Auction Items. Purchaser must return items within 30 days of purchase. Shipping will be at the purchaser’s expense. Refund will only be given if shipping insurance is purchased and the returned item is received undamaged. The refund (minus the proceeds committed to the charity) will be given as a credit on the purchaser's credit card.

 

Return Policy for Items Donated by the Charity. Each charity will handle the return policy of their donated items. Purchasers are asked to please contact the charity directly.

 

Purchaser Tax Ramifications

Purchasers will receive notification stating what amount was donated to your charity and directing them to consult their own tax preparer regarding tax ramifications.
